Fine5 Dance Theatre's first independent piece „Wanderers" (music A.Pärt, choreography R. Nõmmik, dancers O. Ostanin and R. Nõmmik) was created during the American Dance Festival in 1992. The same year, the piece won the second prize at the IFMC international contemporary choreography contest („For it's conceptual choreography", according to the head of the jury, Mr V. Jelizarjev ). In 1995 and 1997, longer, completed versions of the same piece for all members of the then Fine5 company were created. One of these versions again won the second prize at the Pinerolo (Italy) contemporary dance contest in 1997. For the 20th anniversary of the IFMC in 2007, at the request of the organizers, Fine5 will restore „Wanderers", but does it based on the present dancers of the company.
