Fine 5 Dance School was founded in 1994. It gave professional training for young people who later continued their studies in dance universities and continue to participate in different dance projects and develop their own performances. The lessons were meant both for beginners and people with advanced skills; the only thing expected from the students was that they value creative personal initiative and take interest in contemporary dance on different levels. Every year there were about fifty 15 to 35 year old young and professional dancers that took part in the lessons.
Special emphasis was on practical training to help to develop cooperation between the body and the mind; creativity and figurative thinking; combining different movement qualities with improvisation; individual and group work.

During 20 years Fine 5 Dance School was one of the most important training centers of contemporary dance in Estonia. Several students from our school continued their studies in leading European dance universities (e.g. Kristel Kia in University College of Dance, Krõõt Juurak in New Dance Development Center in Holland etc). In 2004 3 students from Fine 5 – Alissa Snaider, Laura Kvelstein, Anu Tromm – reached the final audition of P.A.R.T.S in Brussels. In 2003 Alissa Snaider took part of the Estonian final of Eurovision Young Dancers competition. The works of Fine 5 Dance School for several times have been the laureates of the Estonian dance festival "Koolitants" (1997-2005).

Most of the first generation Estonian contemporary dancers and choreographers have studied in Fine 5 Dance School (e.g. Katrin Essenson, Taavet Jansen, Helen Reitsnik, Tiina Mölder; Raido Mägi, Merle Saarva, Mart Kangro, Endro Roosimäe, Rain Saukas, Laura Kvelstein and many more).
The school was led by Tiina Ollesk and René Nõmmik, as well by company dancers Dmitri Kruus, Irina Pähn etc. During those years more than 20 guest choreographs have carried out their workshops (Karin Jameson from Sweden, Claire Filmon from France, Randy James from USA, Tommi Kitti from Finland, Aki Suzuki from Japan, Matteo Moles from Belgium etc).

From 2013 we have had no resources to keep up the Company Studio and we have stopped the regular classes for beginners. For professional studies we recommend contacting the Tallinn Ballet School. TBS is soon to start contemporary dance classes for gymnasium level students.

Regular classes at Fine5 Dance Theatre are only open for dancers with a previous dance experience.
