The performance evening of Giorgi Aleksidze Tbilisi Contemporary Ballet and Fine5 Dance Theater in the Sakala3 theater building consists of two parts: first part Fine5 Dance Theater’s “QUARTETS”, in the second part, the Georgian guests’ production “Dovin, Doven, Dovli…”.

“Dovin-Doven-Dovli…” is a landmark dance performance based on the poetry of Georgian poet Galaktion Tabidze. The author of the idea was Giorgi Aleksidze (1941-2008), the leader of modern ballet, but it was carried out by his daughter, choreographer and dancer Mariam Aleksidze. The idea was to create a choreography for the text as a meaningful initial sound impulse. Together with the director Gela Kandelaki, Mariam selected Tabidze’s poems, which symbolically convey the thoughts and life path of Giorgi Aleksidze, and created a performance with a personal choreographic handwriting from them, which is characterized by a figurative symbiosis of the relationship between the text of the poem, movement and music.
